Hi All! Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted. What can I say, it’s been a BUSY year.
But starting last weekend, actually, we started bringing a market booth back to the Bayview Farmer’s Market. For most of the season, we sent food with our good friends at Ebb Tide produce. So it was mostly their stuff, plus some of ours. Their farm is less “off season” than ours, so with their stuff winding down we did a market booth “switcheroo” and now we are bringing the majority of the goodies, and Ebb Tide is supplementing with whatever they have left. Farmer cooperation!
It’s been a good deal for us because, boy we were busy this summer. I can’t imagine what we would have done if we were doing a market as well. But now, come fall (and soon winter) we are reaping the rewards of our hard hard summer’s work with HUGE BOUNTEOUS harvest and are happy to share them with you through this fall and winter. We plan to be selling at the Bayview Farmer’s Market up til Christmas! So we hope to see you are market today! We will have: food garlic, seed garlic (for planting), winter squash, tomatoes, peppers, onions, potatoes, kale, chard, collards, celery, leeks, beets, parsley, cauliflower, romanesco, summer squash, rutabagas, radishes, lettuce and so much more!
Meanwhile, here’s a few photos from yesterdays crazy squash harvest. With still more to go!
Hope to see you at market!
